Meet Janine Hogan

Having been a marketing professional since 2002, I understand what it takes to be successful in the highly competitive online marketplace. From product development, to trade show execution, sales, creative writing, and even television and film production, I've experienced it all. Many years in the field has taught me what works and what doesn't when it comes to selling products or services and it always comes back to having an intimate relationship with the customer.


What I discovered along the way was that my part was best played writing. It's my passion. It's where I thrive. It's the part of the sales process that I always found myself gravitating toward and excelling at. One of my favorite things about being a freelance copywriter is that it enables me to educate others on helpful products and services through the power of the written word. But to get there, it involves telling a compelling brand story with the right messaging that connects with the desired audience on a deeply personal level. 

I also thoroughly enjoy meeting wonderful people and helping them succeed. When I first learn about a new client's business, I often find that what they do is also where their passion lives. And being true to our passions is something that really resonates with me. I get to live my passion every day and I'm grateful for it. It not only takes courage to pursue our dreams, it also takes a team of highly skilled professionals who provide the resources and services we need that help us make our dreams a reality. 

I love a good story and I love writing one even more. I've been writing stories creatively since I was a child. I still have those stories in their original notebooks (complete with illustrations) and I enjoy sharing them with my young daughter. So when I decided to focus my marketing career on copywriting, telling other people's stories was the perfect avenue for me to take. Great copywriting requires a skillful blend of creative vision and the right words to truly bring great stories to life. I've been fortunate to be able to help countless business owners improve their LinkedIn presence, build great brand stories, and increase their revenue by generating more viable leads. 

And even though I have a BA in Communications & Media Studies from Monmouth University, along with ongoing professional copywriting training that keeps me fresh, it's been the journey throughout my career that has provided the best education. Many years in the field has given me the ability to: 

  • Understand the ins-and-outs of business to business sales

  • Provide business owners and executives with online marketing solutions

  • Manage projects from concept to completion

  • Collaborate well with decision-makers, marketers, and graphic designers

  • Craft engaging, strategic, creative copy and content
